An evening with Gathering Stars and special guest Heather Redman & The Reputation
Gathering Stars and Heather Redman are the perfect combo to bring you a night of retro soul vibes. On top of that it’s Groundhog Day so we might be celebrating an earlier spring. Whatever the result may be we will have a good time!
Gathering Stars
Gathering Stars is a band who makes beautiful, powerful, soulful music. They have become Columbus favorites with their uplifting shows, hopeful vibes, empowering vocals and slow funky dance grooves.
This six piece indie pop band has been spreading their positive vibes of unity, compassion and empowerment throughout the music scene since 2018.
Michelle Ishida shares lead vocals with Carole Walker and Stephanie Sambroak. Their rhythm section grooves solidly with Bill Patrick -guitar, Jeff Plavcan- bass and Los Giles- drums. They are currently promoting their full length album “Time” which was released in April 2023.
Heather Redman & The Reputation
Heather Redman isn’t new to the southern Ohio music scene and has long been respected for her frequent role as a co-vocalist, co-front person, guitarist, and percussionist. In fact, you could say that over the years she’s developed one hell of a reputation. That reputation has at last manifest into a band Redman fronts with the support of some of the region’s heaviest hitters, a big live sound including a 3 piece horn section, as well as a fantastic, highly anticipated, and well-deserved “Heather record”.
The debut album “Heather Redman & The Reputation” is a fresh and familiar sound that mines the depths of 60s and 70s soul and garage rock, but delivers a new energy fed by Redman and Co.’s lineage in Midwestern indie rock.
